All XHD rotor blades are re-enforced with an additional layer of fabric and higher stiffness epoxy resins added during the pultrusion process and as a result use 6 mm shell and webbing thickness, adding more weight the rotor to help maintain centripetally generated momentum during lulls in wind speed.
